SnapSleeveä high temperature, heat, flame, pyro and fire resistant sleeve and jacket provides molten splash & weld splatter protection to wires, cables, hoses, tubes and pipes. SnapSleeveä provides a field installable protection sleeve utilizing metal stainless steel snaps instead of hook and loop closure strips.
SnapSleeveä with its metal closures can endure the most demanding of liquid metal splash and heavy weld splatter, and may be more suitable than a hook and loop closure for some applications. This sleeve also provides energy savings and personnel protection.
Snaps are installed at 6 inch spacing along the sleeve. 4 inch and 3 inch spacing is also available - and is particularly useful to keep the flap of the sleeve closed on installations that involve curves or movement. Additional snaps may easily be field installed to allow for unique bends or extra closure protection. Snaps and portable installation tools are available from us.
Available in sizes from 1" through 12" ID. Other larger sizes available. For sizes larger than 5-1/2 inches, a seam of overlapped firefleeve that is sewn togther is present.
Meets 14 CFR 25.869(a)(4); Appendix F, Part 1(b)(7) (60-degree flammability Test).
Special ordering notes;
If you are ordering one length of sleeve with snap closure - for example 7 feet... Then order a quantity of 7 x 1 foot units and indicate in the special instructions area of the checkout that it is one 7 foot length. If you are ordering 2 lengths, for example 10 feet and 5 feet - then make the total 15 x 1 foot units and indicate in the checkout notes that it is 2 lengths - one at 10 feet and one at 5 feet. If you require more precise lengths such as 11 feet 4 inches in length - then order the next foot increment higher (12 x 1 foot units) and indicate in the notes the finished overall length is 11 feet 4 inches. Our shipping calculator will not provide an accurate cost for this item at checkout but we will review the actual cost at time of shipping and advise you of any additional payment required or if there is a credit due.
